Classes

We organise a variety of weekly classes with something for everyone – from beginner to pro! Below you can find our weekly schedule, descriptions for all of our class types, a calendar for upcoming events, and information on our classroom.

You can book a spot in a class once you have joined the association and made an account for the website. Each class has a maximum of 10 spots, so book in advance to make sure you’ll fit. Also please note that we have a 24-hour cancellation policy. For the classes, you should bring a small towel (to dry the pole), shorts and a water bottle.

Class descriptions

Beginner TC (Technique Class)

This is our most basic class suitable for beginners. You will get used to the pole and learn the basic spins and easiest poses. No prior experience needed! We strongly recommend attending the TC Beginner when you first start out.

Intermediate 1 TC (Technique Class)

In the intermediate 1 technique class we start moving towards more complex spins and the reverse grab. You’ll learn more poses upside down and get used to short combos. Prior requirements are basic spins, layback and crucifix. If you aren’t sure whether you have the skills needed, don’t hesitate to ask our instructor.

Intermediate 2 TC (Technique Class)

In intermediate 2 technique classes, we prep our body control and pole skills towards the advanced level with handstands, flexibility drills and gain strength by combining pole techniques learnt in easier classes. Before attending the lesson you should be able to do an aerial invert, scorpio, gemini and butterfly with comfort and have good control of your body.

Advanced TC (Technique Class)

This is our most advanced technique class and suitable for people who have attended intermediate 2 lessons for some time. Here we train moves on our hands that require strength and complex transitions needing good body control. In addition to the intermediate 2 requirements, prerequisites for this class the reverse grab, shoulder mount and reiko split. You should also be comfortable with basic pole handstands. You might want to chat with our instructor before attending!

Mobility & Strength

Our strength classes are more training than dancing or technique. We do exercises with and without the pole and wall bars to get stronger and increase our active mobility. The goal is, obviously, to benefit our pole dancing even though we’ll give you a great workout in addition. Suitable for all levels!
Stretching

Improving your mobility is essential to becoming a good pole dancer. We help you with that in our instructed stretching session. Alternating weeks of lower body (splits) and upper body/back (bridges) themed moves.
Open Class

A class where you can train what you wish at your own pace. The instructor will take you through the warm up and be there to help and give tips at your request. If you are a choreo student or otherwise preparing for a show, OCs are definitely the place to be! Anyhow, all polers benefit from the open classes.
Volunteer open

If you’re a volunteer and learned how to set up poles, feel free to come train at your own. This time will sometimes be used for workshops, in which case an announcement will be sent out.

Workshop

We organize various single workshops from time to time. The themes might be anything from ballet to street workout or yoga to zumba. You can find more information by clicking on the specific workshop!
